Okay, so yesterday I decided that the best way to start working would be to finish Dragon Age. As a result, I am ashamed of how much time I spent playing dragon age, how little I got done, how emotionally invested I am in that game (seriously, way more connected to my emotions in this game than in real life).

Now, in a much more productive Tuesday (not), I'm almost caught up on Community

I have at least managed to double check that all my trip tickets were booked properly.

ETA: the D&D episode of Community is making me feel better about my connection to video game characters.

Reading "Reality Is Broken" by Jane McGonigal right now. Research concludes that you are really, really not alone in being more emotionally invested in games than real life - they are designed to provoke that sort of thing, where real life isn't.

I don't doubt that I'm not along but it doesn't help that I don't really have a life or outside responsibilities right now. As I was falling asleep last night, I was thinking that I need an intervention or something.

I've lost the Ninja to Dragon Age II so it's not just you.

What are your thoughts on Community? I quite enjoy it and am glad other people are slowly discovering it.
