Aug. 6th, 2004 10:33 amAlright, I was reading one of Silvie's YA books yesterday. I was about half way through it and I thought it was going to be cute and fluffy with a moral lesson about integration of Native Americans. And then, BANG! The stupid author goes and kills the main character's native friend. I mean wtf! Why do young adult books always strive to drive their point home with tears?
So, I stayed up and finished reading it and, seeing as how I started at 12, that meant I was up until 1:30. Good book but I'm going back to fluffy, pointless adult novels in which all the characters live happily ever after thank you!
In other news, made cookies for Yu Ting ... I should write that e-mail of stuff I want Meji to include in it.
I should do something useful ... but it's my last day, and I just can't bring myself to do anything.
