The only similarity at all, in fact, was that they were both sort of about two girls trying to find their purpose in the world.
Also, the guy was really annoying ... and what sort of name is Tombo anyways?
One thing about Miyazaki movies is that there are always so many unanswered questions and unfinished plot elements at the end ... I mean, I know that's kind of a more accurate reflection of real life, but I don't like it. They never, in Kiki, explained how she learned to deal with those bratty kids or, spectacular rescue of her only friend aside, what she did to get her magic back ... it wasn't exactly an inspiration to keep going, it was just an extraordinary circumstance ... anyways, enough of that.
Kat and Nikki and I also watched mulan 2 ... because we could. Ah Disney ...
Last week of work. This should be interesting.
