Jul. 20th, 2004 11:21 amI love these shoes - they're like moccasins .. I can walk down the hallway without making a sound *evil grin*
I watched Stargate Atlantis!! *does a happy dance*
I went to my basement because my Mom said I should be able to get all the channels down there. There ensued a particularily amusing female bonding session with my Mom and my sisters as Amy and I screwed up the TV so that the channels it displayed were not the same ones it was playing while my Mom tried to read the directions to fix it. Then we lost channel three and had to search through the cable system to find it. We finally got the TV in working order and proceeded to spend 20 minutes trying to make the VCR get the channels we didn't have, nearly breaking it and completely confusing the clock somehow. Meanwhile, Lori's making sarcastic comments and giggling in the background until we're all in hysterics. Then we decided to call Shaw and see why we couldn't get those channels in the basement, leading to a half hour wait, at which point they informed us that we'd recieve a call back. It was at this point that Mom had the ingenious idea to simply link up the box to the basement TV and .. voila! Stargate Atlantis. Lol.
It was better than I expected although Dr. Weir is not the best actress and I find it a little anticlimatic that the ancients are humans. Dull.
I also feel like I'm missing rather a lot in those seasons that aren't being aired.
It might have helped a little if I'd seen the season 7 episodes that discovered the whereabouts of the ancients.
I have A Question of Honour and Two out of Three Ain't Bad stuck in my head. What a strange combination. I'm so mad at that Question of Honour song because it's such a pretty song when you get to the part where Sarah Brightman is singing, but before that, it's horribly icky and I don't know how to crop songs.
Going to Cirque de Soliel tonight!! Yatta!
