(no subject)

Ah, how I've missed smelling of chlorine. I finally managed to get out to underwater hockey last night. I literally dragged Amy with me and I think she hates me now. It was a lot of fun once I was in the water, but I only got to play for an hour and it took me longer than that to get there. And the equipment they have there kind of sucks. I think I want my own eq before I go back. Since I plan on grabbing my own flippers and mask this weekend though, that could be as soon as next Tuesday, since I discovered that Tuesday is the other day that they play.
Anyone reading this who's interested is welcome to come try it with me. If you have a car to drive me down there so that I don't have to take the LRT, I'd also be in your debt.
Cirque du Soleil was awesome! ...What did I expect? My sisters hated the act that I liked the best, once again proving that I'm a different species than them. My dad managed to get us all into the VIP tent .. it was so cool. They gave us a free CD ... I keep leaving it at home, so I haven't listened to it yet, but it's Cirque music so how bad can it be?
I'm almost finished reading Shadow of the Lion now and it's really good but not as good as I had expected from the raving reviews it was getting. It's certainly deeper and a little less idealized than her other books, but it's not really that hard to put down and forget about. However, I would definitely recommend it and I am enjoying it.
My mom told me this morning that neither Lori nor Dad is going to be home for dinner and so she was thinking she'd take Amy and I for dinner and a movie *is excited*.
