I actually can speak a little French but when someone on the phone calls and starts speaking it to me, I completely freeze up. I couldn't say 'It's 11. He'll be back at 2.' I totally know how to say that in French! Why can't I be cooler?

We just watched it and were all 'what the hell!?' so we went and read about it and apparently Joss threw it together in about 6 days when he realized he needed another episode.
