Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. Okay, so what's Donner mean? Also, who came up with these names?

Uhhh ... nm. Wikipedia really does know everything. Apparently Donner and Blizen originate from the German words for Thunder and Lightning.

For those of you wondering where this is coming from, there's a guy at work named Doner and my boss was calling him Donner today for some reason and quoting the other reindeer names.
