So I finished watching The West Wing. I can't seem to wrap my mind around the fact that I've seen all of it now. I keep thinking that I should watch more and then realizing there is no more and then I think I should watch it again, but I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode now so it wouldn't help lol. I finished watching it on the 21st though and it seemed fitting; I then went home and read all the newspaper articles about Obama's first day in office. I find myself wanting to know who his staff will be, but then I realize that the answers I'm looking for are CJ, Josh, Sam, Toby and Arnie Vinick.

I also kind of realized, when I was thinking about how Obama must feel right now, that I'm more or less terrified of responsibilities that I don't know I can handle. I would never want a job with real political responsibility; I would never live up the The West Wing characters ... of course, neither did Bush's administration but I hole myself in higher regard ... In fact, I don't want a job where I could do anything wrong. If I know how to do it, fine but if I'm not confident that I do, I don't want to be responsible for it.

Laurence Fishbourne on CSI? Really? Also, am I the only one who missed Jesse from Full House joining the cast of ER?

Some of my friends will be proud that I watched Supernatural last night; the kids here were watching it. I can't decide if I like the demon chick because the show really needed a strong female character or hate her for ruining the slash and her bad acting.

New BSG tonight. My life has become meaningless hasn't it? I applied for a bunch of volunteer positions yesterday ... I don't know if that makes me proud of myself or just desperate.

Yes, Lawrence Fishbourne is on CSI and I'm not sure if I like this development. I also knew about Jesse from Full House a while ago. Is it important that he's on ER? If I thought it was I would have told you sooner. Mind you, the last time I cared about anything he was in he ended up marrying the guy who played Simon Tam in a made for tv movie.

Is proud of you watching Supernatural. You should have watched the one last week. It was actually a pretty good horror movie fit into an hour timeslot. As for Ruby, I like the old Ruby better. New Ruby just isn't as good in my mind. I approve of her car though.

Speaking of BSG... when are you free? I sort of want to finish the first season at some point in the near future.

I don't care about CSI anymore - I was just amused. Similar story with Stamos being on ER. *kind of wants to see that made for TV movie now*

I'm not so much into the horror. I must admit though, this week's episode was pretty much crap except for Jensen's acting. I love his sardonic face.

Darlin, I'm ALWAYS free.

The made for tv movie is actually pretty good. I've seen it a few times. I'll see if I can find it for you.

The acting last week was so much better, but the bit the with the Chief this week made me hurt myself laughing.

Does sunday work for you? We should totally pick a time though and not wing it like last time. I want to have time to go through all seven(?) remaning eps.

Nah, I like the new Ruby better. She's not the stereotypical blonde chick. *gag* And she's fun and snarky.

Gee, I wonder what it's like to be blonde and snarky? I liked Katie Cassidy... She was wonderful and snarky and didn't put up with Sam being whiney and emo or Dean being a jackass. Genevieve is getting better, but she doesn't have the snarky demon bitch thing down yet. Her Ruby seems to be mooning over Sam and appears to be using Dean as a role model in her pursuit of Sam, right up to the acquisition of the muscle car.

I loathe the new chick, because I think she's made of suck. And I mean that in the kindest possible way. The bad acting makes me cringe very hard though.

Also, she's brunette. Which is weird. Because clearly, the show has established that all brunettes be belong to Dean, and all blondes be belong to Sam. The end.

Also, I knew about Stamos, but only because my mother watches ER a lot, and doesn't understand what they're saying, so I end up watching ER by default, to translate the entire dialogue for her.
