Guys, I'm okay! I should have made this post yesterday but I didn't think you'd all be so worried. Auckland is quite far away from Christchurch and no one was injured in Christchurch either though no one will be driving on the roads anytime soon and it'll be interesting to see how long it takes them to get their plumbing back together.

I forgot to mention in my last post this fabulous almond tart that they had at the tapas restaurant. I think I should be able to replicate it. I should even be able to replicate it and make it gluten free. Basically they had created this basic tart bottom then stirred sliced almonds into butter and brown sugar then scooped them into the tart base. So similar to some deserts I love already but I'd never thought of it! So making it in the future.

I got a message from New Zealand immigration this week saying 'please note you have 45 days to leave the country'. DO NOT WANT!!!

I wasn't too worried, since news reports said very few people were injured, and the_antichris didn't sound worried.

Yeah, lucky for me I had the_antichris on my flist going "Stop. Don't worry. World media is not SMRT about NZ geography." or else you would've had many frantic emails from me prior to this.
