Okay, so I'm a little suprised none of my flist has posted this yet
Possibly I'm the only one in the world who thinks Lady Heather is the best thing ever to happen to CSI. Since CSI is awesome, Lady Heather quickly climbs the ranks of coolest things ever (right after the Sonata Arctica concert and Jordana Brewster (I didn't go see Annapolis last night; what are you talking about?).
Anyways, yesterday's ep - not awesome in terms of CSI eps, but OMG Lady Heather. I was so proud of myself for not crying as soon as they told us it was her daughter. I made strangled, horrified gasping noises that had my sister and mother looking at me very strangely, and then I kept repeating 'no, no, no' over and over, but I didn't cry. Then when Grissom was interrogating her about why she was breaking and entering into that guy's house, I couldn't stop laughing. I was doing so well until the last two minutes of the episode when Grissom finds her beating the guy and stops her - then I cried. The worst part is, I couldn't decide if I was happy or sad because omg poor Heather, but at the same time Grissom/Heather OTP 4eva.
Okay, so that whole rant probably increased my insane rank by about 3 points, but oh well.
In other news, sometimes the people I work with are the coolest thing ever. We went out for lunch at the Thai food restaurant and they forced me to not pay again and then we went to the Chinese bakery and bought coconut buns. They spent the whole lunch hour making lewd jokes. I felt like I was in Guelph.
Kat and her friends are finally going to the bar on Saturday and they invited me to go along. Figures that we'd finally get our act together on the same day that my mom's 'big huge she'll kill me if I'm not there' United Way Fundraiser dinner. I'm hoping that she'll let me get out of cleaning up and let me go to the bar.
Anyways, 3 more hours of work. I can do this. Then I'm going to Nikki's house to watch the Olympics and finally build my website. Or at least start building it. I don't really know how it works, but I'm hoping it will at least be on-line by the end of the night *is excited*
